We talk occasionally on the internet (x3)
But the real time spent is not easy to forget
Once upon a time I met a real live friend And in real time life did our friendship begin
We had some great adventures and we told a lot of tales We made a lot of memories before we set sail
We talk occasionally on the internet (x3) But the real time spent is not easy to forget

Sometimes I wanna call but I don't pick up the phone Don't want to admit insecurity has grown Do you remember and do you care? I know that you would if I was still there We talk occasionally on the internet (x3) But the real time spent is not easy to forget

A few years later I saw her again And though much had changed well we were still friends
We talked about our lives and she talked about her kids
And we talked about the places that we now live We talk occasionally on the internet (x3) But the real time spent is not easy to forget

Boobie Bar 01:37
Don't go down to the boobie bar
If you want a real relationship you won't get far Don't go to that boobie bar (x2)
Some women think it’s feminist liberation but I think it’s cause for hesitation Titillation! Manipulation! You're not being loved for who you are

Don't go down to the boobie bar If you want a real relationship you won't get far Don't go to that boobie bar (x2)

As a man it's time that I take a stand yes this is a line drawn in the sand Give women respect and dignity they’re more than something for us to see Don't go down to the boobie bar If you want a real relationship you won't get far Don't go to that boobie bar (x2)

I just burnt my dinner cause I had to write a song
My new ideas keep moving in and I can't stay quiet long See I’ve got more ideas than my money can afford Still I’d buy all your time, if you would listen more

Who takes all our time? Nate-O-Bot!
Distracted Nate-O-Bot takes all the time we’ve got (x2) She wanted me to print a zine but truth is I forgot Distractions took over and all the time was lost
I tried to save the world, instead I wrote a song There’s things I’ve got to do that I’m not working on

Distracted Nate-O-Bot takes all the time we’ve got (x2)
There’s lessons we have learned that we’d like to impart There’s jobs to do together, projects to do apart
So I'm learning to make lots of lists and use some self-control
We’re learning to draw boundaries and of our time take hold Distracted Nate-O-Bot takes all the time we’ve got (x2)

I discovered Blaster The Rocket Man in 1999. Their album The Monster Who Ate Jesus was and still is one of the greatest sci-fi, punk, whatever album's I've heard. Shortly after the record came out Blaster broke up.

Flash forward 10 years. I heard a rumor that new Blaster songs had surfaced. After some research, I learned that Crossroads of America and Flannelgraph Records had convinced Blaster to record two songs for their CD club. This was great news, which gave me a great idea. Maybe Blaster would put these songs out on 7" with my band! I mean why not, right? So I crossed my fingers and sent off an email. To my surprise they said yes!

The record you are now holding contains the two "new" Blaster The Rocket Man songs The Detective of Nightmares and Death of Android Gunslinger and three songs from Destroy Nate Allen We Talk Occasionally on the Internet, Boobie Bar and Distracted Nate-O-Bot.

The 7" was funded via Kickstarter since it turns out a lot of other people also love Blaster The Rocket Man.
